Proffesor Hojo
Hojo is your typical Mad Scientist, but with these major (and scary) twists: he is NOT absent minded, he is COMPLETLY cold hearted, and is ABSOLUTELY crazy! Hojo becomes an increaingly larger thorn in your side as the game progresses, and soon gets to the point where he will have to be "removed" so that he does not become a fatal "infection" on your side (these are METAPHORS, people... Hojo does not turn into a disease!).
Hojo is Proffesor Gast's replacement in Shinra, Inc. While he does not have the scientific talent or sanity that Gast had (everyone at Shinra agrees on this...) he was the next best replacement when Gast had to be fired due to his questioning the exploitation of Jenova and Mako. Hojo produced many experiments that greatly furthered Shinra, and aided them with his inventions of defense when times became darker. while Hojo actually seems like a callous scientist, he very quickly devolves into a sadistic genius. Do not underestimate Hojo... as he demonstrates, powerful evil can turn up in the most frail of beings.
