Artea was the last person to join Maxim's party, and is the last surviving member when the Hero meets him. Being Elven, he has a long lifespan. In Maxim's party, he was a cross between Aguro's deadly might and Selans powerful magic. While being quite adept at magic, he was able to dish out damage. While his physical attacks are not as powerful as Maxim's or Guy's, his bows can deal that damage to every enemy in a group. This is extremely useful in eliminating weaker enemies quickly, or weakening tougher ones. Artea was the only other member of Maxim's party besides Guy to survive the battle, but Artea's eye was injured and over time he became blind. While unable to fight along the Hero and his friends, he did supply them with much needed information on Professor Shaia, and with his bow from the Battle. |
