Daos is the Arch-villain in the game. He is the Sinistral of Chaos, and is rightly named so. He unleashes unspeakable horrers on the people of the world, and is seeking to become the almighty ruler. This time around, however, he has learned from his mistakes. He knows about the Hero, and the dangers the decendent of Maxim could cause him. He will stop at nothing until all traces of Maxim's line has been wiped out, and the only weapon that could harm him, the Dual Blade, has been destroyed. Callous and Cruel, he and any of the other Sinistrals are capable of wiping out a city singlehandedly, and they have done so. Daos commands monsters to do his bidding, and throws horde after horde of demons at the Hero's party. Finally, he uncovers a secret that throws the Hero into a stupor, and causes an outrage among the Party. As the truth is revealed, neither the Hero or Lufia will ever be the same... Defeating Daos is not as tough as it sounds, however. There is one all-around strategy that works wonders against the sinistrals. I was able to beat all of the final bosses at no higher than level 40. Have jerin constantly casting "Mirror" on every member of your party, and you will be immune to all of Daos' attacks except for his Death spells. His physical attacks are also relatively weak, and as long as you keep your Mirrors up, then the Dual Blade will have served its purpose in no time. |
