Capcom announces The Devil May Cry - posted by Hyperion The Devil May Cry tells the tale of Dante, a descendant of both demons and their legendary slayer. When the demons seek vengeance on the ancestor of their sworn enemy by murdering Dante's family, he sets out to seek his own revenge. Though gameplay and graphic details are scarce at this early point, gamers can expect a fully 3D engine and a greater focus on fantasy elements. Like Capcom's upcoming Onimusha, combat will employ swords and magic, as Dante can use his demon blood to transform into more powerful beings.
The Devil May Cry is tentatively scheduled for release in Japan next summer.

FF Calender - posted by Scavenger382 Square, in an effort to promote it's flagship series, is creating a Final Fantasy wall calender in the midst of its huge ad campaign. In the weeks to come, Final Fantasy will recieve more coverage than George Bush and Al Gore combined (okay that's an exageration... please don't quote it.) The wall calender will contain seven pages of Final Fantasy artwork done by Yoshitaka Amano (character designer for 1-6 and 9) and Nomura Tetsuya. Unfortunately, you will almost certainly have to import it, as its chances of coming to the states are close to nonexistant. Our only question is, why 7 pages for 12 months?
